goodbye summer, i'll miss you
I just had my first week of school. I didn't like it so much. I wish it was still summer, but then I wouldn't get to celebrate my birthday on Friday. The classes I'm taking this year are harder than the ones I took last year. It's time to work hard and not procrastinate anymore. Other than school, things are ok. I just passed my Eagle Scout Board of Review, so I'm officially an Eagle Scout. Yayyy!! I can tell that this is going to be a long, hot, school year. But there's nothing I can do about it.

That's right. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it. So just stop trying... or, you could fight the system and stick it to the man! Viva La Revolution!!
I understand you've got some pretty ferocious classes this year. Good luck with them. And congratulations on earning your Eagle! We're all proud of you.
You'll be fine and I expect actually do very well in school. Smile, life really is good!
